Tips

• Height: 720px works for short calcs (paint, mulch, BTU). 760-820px for longer ones (concrete, deck, roofing). If readers have to scroll inside the iframe, bump the height up by 100px.
• Width: use width="100%" with a max-width on the iframe style so it never exceeds your content column.
• WordPress: paste into a Custom HTML block. Avoid pasting into a paragraph block — many themes strip iframes from paragraph blocks.
• Squarespace / Wix / Webflow: use the platform's Code / Embed / HTML iFrame component. Same iframe works everywhere.
• Caching: embed pages are static and CDN-cached, so readers pay no server-roundtrip cost after the first load.
• Affiliate links inside the embed: the materials shopping list at the bottom of each calculator includes affiliate links to Home Depot. Buyer clicks open in a new tab; you pay nothing and we benefit. We're transparent about this on every page.

What changes inside an embed vs the full calculator?

Embed pages strip the site nav, footer, and display ads. They keep:

• The full calculator (all inputs, all outputs)
• The materials shopping list (with affiliate links)
• The "How we calculated it" formula explainer

They drop:

• Site navigation (no header/footer)
• Display ads (none)
• Long-form FAQ (kept on the main page; readers can click through if interested)
• Cross-promotional links to other calculators
